NVIDIA FrameView is a free performance analysis and benchmarking tool from NVIDIA Corporation that helps gamers, reviewers, and developers measure real-world GPU performance and efficiency. It provides a customizable in-game overlay for real-time metrics and can record detailed logs for later analysis. FrameView reports frame rate, frame time, percentile FPS (such as 99th percentile), and system information including GPU utilization, clock speeds, temperature, and memory usage. On NVIDIA GPUs, it also provides power draw and performance-per-watt metrics to evaluate energy efficiency. The tool supports DirectX, Vulkan, and OpenGL applications, works in both full-screen and windowed modes, and is designed to add minimal overhead so results remain representative. Measurements can be exported to CSV for reproducible testing and sharing. FrameView runs on Windows 10 and later.
